This image is an album cover that was commissioned for the Amity Trio’s premiere album, Between Us Now. The Amity Trio is a classical music chamber ensemble that consists of three music instructors who have performed internationally. The album is unique in its complex view of love that considers the many feelings beyond passion that lovers experience in a long term relationship. In listening to the music and reading the lyrics, I found myself thinking about the private world that lovers share with one another and wanted to depict that. Specifically, I wanted to capture a couple sharing a vulnerable moment, two taking refuge in each other's warmth and escaping from a larger, unfamiliar world.
