For a long time, I’ve wanted to paint a war. This work started with abstract bodies of contrasting red and green colors, which then morphed into faces and plants. Despite not actually having an environmental concept in mind while starting, the green army instinctively became nature and the red, humanity. This work depicts the ongoing conflict and our intertwined fates.
