This style of abstract painting is inspired by Rorschach tests. These paintings are part of an ongoing project to document the subjectivity of perception. Like cloud watching, people always see different images within these works. At times their visual projection is a shared experience, but mostly, we’re never looking at the exact same picture. The ongoing question is, what are the sources for people’s unique responses? I have come to include memory, mood and degree of imagination.
These art prints are made on Canon Photo Paper with a matte finish. This image show the varying border around the art. These prints are unframed and do not come with backings but are available with single matting.
